The Case for Guaranteed Income: Part II

In the last few years, a handful of cities across the country have experimented with providing direct cash payments to individuals as a way to combat poverty and wealth insecurity. Now momentum is building and over 40 cities have some type of guaranteed income pilot project with more to come. In this session, we will showcase the guaranteed income movement and discuss what it means for the future of the social safety net.
